Ordering Hankook DH01's in the morning to go on my 10lug Alcoas. Just trying to decide if I want the 245 or 265's..... These are going on my 07 4X4 dually which pulls a heavy 9H gooseneck all over the country. 14K miles in the first 5 weeks. Truck has 4. 10's

Hell maybe I should even go with the 225's... ... ?

Looking for lower rpms, so hopefully my MPG's go up!!

Any suggestions on which size? Thanks

I have a SRW QC w 3. 73's so I went w/ the 265's. We have about the same final drive ratio as you have the 48RE and I have the G-56. Given how heavy the tires are, I think I'd opt for the 245's if I were you. Also because of it being a dedicated hauler, whereas mine hauls sometimes but is also used as a daily driver, I just think it would be easier on the truck to have a few more rpms for the pulls. If it was a flatlander truck, maybe the 265's would work ok, but if you 're gonna see a lot of pulls and you have that big split between your gears... . I think I'd go with the 245's.
