insane stunt video

Well I drove up to nevada City this last week and picked up a 1968 ford bronco I saw on E-Bay last week . The truck is in need of work but there is no rust and it has a hard top and removable doors and removable window frames on the doors. The truck has a new rebuilt 93 mustang 302 with fuel injection and a new gas tank. This is going to be one awsome looking truck when I'm through with it. :D

Now thats a pretty good engine swap, hopefully they did it clean. How much were you able to get it for?

I have always loved the look of those broncos and wanted one but after comparing them to IH scouts, i like how bulletproof scouts are... . good luck with the bronc.

Cool! I saw a sweet little Bronco cruising up the street, while i was running this morn. Older guy with Mrs and probably grandkid in the back seat. Sounded like duals and a V8, the cool part was the outside looked basically stock, hubcaps, little mirrors, good chrome and paint. Good luck!

Welcome to the Club! Ever since I sat in a new one back in the early 70's, I knew one day I would have one. A 5 year project started with a 74 frame. When I brought it home on the trailer, the wife (& neighbors) all thought I has lost my mind. The vision I had from the start is what I ended up with. All-glass bodied, topless, no doors or gate, cowl hood, 351 dynoed at 383hp, built C4, power discs on all 4 corners, 35 spline 9" & Dana 44, (both locked up). I ran the headers into a dual inlet, single 3" outlet muffler... tube bumpers & cage match and a white urethane paint job that came out flawless.

Out on the beach in Hatteras was the coolest. It is the ultimate beach buggy. Except when someone would say "nice Jeep"... or "Cool Scout". . Or "Didnt know Ford put a V8 in a BroncoII".

Good luck with your truck...

Old broncos are sweet. A good friend of mine manages http://broncograveyard.com/index.php - check them out for parts, they are by far the #1 Bronco parts dealer in the country. My brother is currently building one up and he hopes to be done sometime next year. A good friend of mine finished his last year (upgraded it further this year) and it's IMHO the best bronco in the country by far. He was the cover truck in the July/August issue of sand sports magazine - the first time a truck has ever been on the cover. He and my brother did the suspension build up as their masters thesis in automotive engineering (they are both ME's for Ford) - all custom built in his garage. It's simply incredible! This year he put an 800hp small block Ford into it (that's on fuel only - he has a 300 hp nitrous kit he's putting on soon :O ). I've been too busy to get out to the dunes to take a ride in it yet but he's getting pretty famous around here. Here's links to the magazine article (I don't have the last couple pages yet) and a couple videos of it running.

Awww, shucks, Steve . . . I thought the jump video would be of you in your CTD! :-laf

I've still got the LT1 powered '89 Wrangler, but didn't have time to make it to the dunes this summer either. A real shame with all of the good weather we had. That green machine looks to be just a hair faster than our jeep. :D
