Sprinters...

Twin blowers..... Umm yeah.

I did my own rebiuld with the help of an old transmission rebuilder. It just got a reseal and freshen up. It works great except that it has a few second delay going into reverse and when it engages it is a really hard bang. It gets worse as it warms up. All forward gears are fine.

He claims it is a newer style valvebody which has a tendancy to warp and cause issues:confused: . He is ducking out on this one I think. He did the valvebody and I think he screwed something up. I seen him stretch out a spring and claimed it would help something but can't remember what.

What are your ideas to find a cure for this?

Look into a valve body reprogram kit, one should be available at a reasonable cost. It will have the complete assortment of springs for a the VB. You can handle this task yourself, drain the pan and remove the VB, replacing the springs etc. Sounds like he went for a half-*****ed shift kit effect to me. I have a 86' F150 4x4 for sale with a low mileage C6 rebuilt by a reputable shop here with receipts if you can't get yours dialed in.
