Are they the same frames. I need to lift kit my w350 and do a cummins swap. Can't continue my journey until I know this basic question. Appreciate any help
As I understand it, they are the same as far as shape and mounting points, but the frames get thicker and stronger as they get newer, with the 91.5 to 93 intercooled frames being the strongest

thanks. Picked up a 92 2wd cummins truck and it has a 6" frame. My 82 w350 frame is 7" and definitely beefier. The crossmembers for the cummins can all be used will need to be modified which is ok since I do metal fab. Excited to do this
