Hello All,

I've heard a lot about TDR and I'm hear trying out the free membership. Thought I share a little about my rig.

It started out as a Craigslist ad in California for $300, it was at an estate sale. The original owner had parked the truck in 97' when his health started to deteriorate with only 46k miles. He later passed away. His family then decided to sale everything in late 2010. After bringing the truck home, I found a wrecked 92' CTD and the swap began. After many months and a lot of cash, I finally finished it, including the inspection and smog at the DMV to certify it as a diesel. I added a 4" Diamond Eye exhaust and a Goerend Torque Converter so far. I've driven over 6k miles with the truck, since the build, and couldn't be happier. I had a 2006 Dodge 2500 CTD and have since sold that now I have completed the Crew.

Future plans include a 4x4 conversion and a few power mods. I'm not interested in "Bombing" the truck since my toy hauler weighs in at 7200lbs empty and towing is the main job for this truck. Thanks for having me.

Mike

Welcome!! I like it. Nice, clean, no stacks... . :D Looks like a real nice ride!!

My cousin and I did one of his a few back. It looked just like yours, but is now 4x4 Cummins. Mostly original interior, and the fenders weren't even cracked!! The 4 wheel drive hub assemblies were an Obummer to find!! We ended up using Chevy rotors..... just don't tell anyone!! :-laf Just for encouragement, here's what it will look like with a straight front axle under it: !!/webdata/photopost/data/500/medium/Digcampics100309_007.jpg#ad
