HI All,

I am going to look at 1989 d250. The pics make it look like a clean truck. It has 155K miles, auto, ac, ps, pb, cc , reese hitch, decent tires, alpine radio, recent new exhaust. What would you think this truck is worth?... Owner says it runs and drives fine. No leaks. (only thing about the body is the right fender was replaced because of a minor accident... . he assured no frame damage... so it is a different color than the rest of the truck and there are a few dings here and there and of all places there is a little damage (dents) to the passenger rocker panels.

Also, anything to be aware of in I think this first year of the cummins in the dodge?

Thanks!

Andrew

Andrew,

Yep, first year for the mighty Cummins!

If the engine sounds/runs good and the transmission works fine that is a good start. The main thing I would look for after that would be rust or rust through under the carpet and in the roof above visors and the bed wheelwells.

What do you want to do with the truck? My guess is $1500 - $2500.

BTW, have you killed the KDP on your current truck? If not you need to. I have a jig you can borrow, just pay shipping both ways. If you buy the '89 you could do both trucks at once.

Godspeed,
Trent
