So my 91.5 has the a518 transmission in it and yesterday i was driving and in second gear it started to slip and it wasnt to bad so i not to worry about it thwn today i went to work and in first second and 3rd gear it sliped but its not noisy. Now its having trouble shiftingout of 1 gear and i have no computer i bypassed it the tps sensor is good my od works sometimes when it catches or mostly when im going fast enough and od has no problems it dosnt slip or nothing but when its out of od it has problems shifting and aclerating any help or thinks. already checked my tv cable is good. But tomorrow im going to drop the pan change fluid and somebody told me to change the shifting sylonid but cerious what others have to say

It depends on whether it is not shifting or actually slipping. There are no solenoids in the transmission like the newer ones to causing shifting issues, it is all hydraulic. If it doesn't shift up until you start feathering the throttle there is a pressure problem. It if is actually slipping in any forward gear, ie you walk the throttle hard and engine revs while speed does not increase or does so slowly, the forward clutch pack is done.

Based on your description it is probably the forward clutch pack burnt up and bleeding pressure off causing the slip and lack of shift.
 
The Only Solenoid is for OD .How Many miles on trans ? Sound's like maybe the clutches have gone bad . If it's Stock then I would also look at converter on it's way out .
