1991 w250

HI All,

I am going to look at a 1991 w250 PU std cab tomorrow. The truck has PW PL CC AC (not working) and is supposed to be in good condition with 200K mikes. The owner is asking $5000..... Is a 1991 worth this much? I was a little concerned by the fact that it is not intercooled... . I never tow more than 7K total weight... . will non intercooled be a problem? IT has a 5 sp trans.

If it is in good mechanical shape, and looks good, it should be worth that much. Towing only 7K is no problem for a nonIC truck, as long as you dont top 10% grades at 80+mph.

I paid 4500 for mine with over 200k on the clock, but mine had glossy paint and IS intercooled. Look for the usual maintainance items, preferrably with records: clutch, brakes, ball joints, shifting, alignment, etc. If all is in order, 5k is not too much. Good luck! Oo.
