The carnage inside my injection pump

Happy Thanksgiving

Well I may finally have time to work on my '92.

One item is I bought a complete turbo with what was supposed to be a 16CM exhaust housing, numbers in casting say 14CM. I use this as a work truck and pull a 20ft gooseneck at times. When I bought the truck it already had 300hp injectors installed and the pump turned up 10%. Will this housing be ok for my setup or should I trade it for a 16CM? I need to replace the block heater and drill and tap the exhaust manifold for a EGR probe figured I would replace the turbo at the same time if it will work.

Also when I start up in cold weather it seems the timing is off really hard to turn the engine over, I'm not talking 0 degrees but say 50 degrees and lower. How would I change the timing if possible or could be somthing else?

This truck also had the NV5600 installed by the previous owner which I really like.

When you say it is really hard to turn over do you mean the starter is cranking the engine slowly or it just don't dont fire well.

get some guages and then see if you need to change the housing but a 14 to a 16 housing swap would only do a little in the way of boost and temps.

The starter just doesn't seem to have enough power, like when the timing is off on a gasser.

When the NV5600 was put in the fly wheel and starter were changed to the newer style from the donor truck. I put a new battery in last year.
