Archived 1993 Gen 1 Fuel tank module help

Good Morning,

I won't get into ALL the details but a recent Dead on Highway has brought me to dropping the fuel tank. (yeah I just found out I could have just lifted the bed ) My fuel module is totally rotted away. Many hours of perusing the forums and I am no closer to a "fix for this. The unit is discontinued with no superseded number. I have seen comments about getting a gas unit and just bypassing the electric fuel pump but which unit? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Use a 2nd gen one, I think they are still available. Lines sizes are larger but I think everything else works fine.

Everything is OK on my old one except for the sliders and sending unit. I bought a Gas module and am just waiting for it so I can retrofit the pieces I need. Thanks for the input.
