New member needing advice on repower

whats up to put a 94-98 12v in where a

1993 rotary pump sits now i also will need

a new bell hse as i have a 2000 nv 4500 on my

93 motor



computer? fuel lines to tank? clutch type?

whos done this ?

You won't need a new bellhousing. You have a transmission bellhousing and an engine bellhousing. Take the engine bellhousing off the two motors and swith them. The engine bellhousings will bolt up because the blocks are the same. If you have A/C and want to keep the factory pump, you can unbolt the whole accessory bracket from the two blocks and switch them over also. The A/C pump bracket, alt. bracket, and water neck are all on this bracket. If you use the factory A/C and alt. it will simplify some of your wiring and and hose routing for the A/C. All in all, it is an easy swap. Make sure you get a 215 HP motor. You'll love it with a stick in your truck. Good luck.
