Archived transmission problem

If you have a vacuum guage you can check the actual vacuum. Not exactly sure of the routing for the whole system though but start at the pump and work your way down. I just did a search and came up with 111 pages to sort through. Seems like most everyones problem came from either the vacuum lines being disconnected or a leak in the system.
 
The other thing that may be wrong is the shift lever may be out of adjustment. There is a lock screw on the shift lever/shift rod connection on the T-case. It may have slipped. If someone has been working on the transmission they may have not put it back correctly.
