I just found a 1994 standard cab 4x4 dually diesel stick shift. . It has a new clutch, ball joints, shocks, power steering box, and brakes. The interior is horrible. . The exterior needs paint, though it's not dented up. . It has 241,000 miles on it. . It's also completely stock. It was at the local dodge dealership having work done, so I asked someone if it was for sale. . They ended up calling the owner, and said I would give them three grand for the truck. . They told me they would take 4. . Is this truck worth 4 grand?

The dealership has a company that installs leather in vehicles. . They gave me a quote of 1200 for leather seats, new carpet, new headliner, and new clothe door inserts. I can get a cheap paint job for another $1,000. . I would probably end up with 6500 in a new looking truck. . Should I do it? I know I don't need it, though 3 cummins trucks is better than two. . :)

I forgot. . The ac isn't cold, and the fan is only blowing on high. . Any idea of what would cause this? I'm sure it needs refrigerant. . The power windows work fine. .

I learned in buying real estate that you can tell the condition of a house without going inside. just look at the outside if its rough there it probably is inside as well. Holds pretty true and probably does here also. Sounds like it has been well used and abused

Morse, you could buy one of my two trucks. I would probably sell my 94 2 wheeler for around $10,xxx but its all done up and i am trying to sell my 94 3500 4x4 5 spd. for $5000. I would like to buy another truck i found but wont happen with owning these two other trucks.

Well, I offered $3,800 cash for it today, and they said they'd take it. . That's as long as it runs and drives ok when I test drive it. . I haven't rode in it yet. . I just ordered a set of 370's. . Is 500 bucks too much for a used hx40 with a downpipe? I'm doing 4k gsk, timing, and plate next time I go through georgia (garmon's diesel performance). . Thanks for the responses. . I feel I'm getting a pretty good deal. .

I just noticed you have dealt with DDP in Monroe. If your'e really interested in the truck arrange to bring it in and have Lenny look it over. It might cost you a few bucks but might save you some real headaches too ;)

A 160 pump will flow a lot more than some give it credit. . I have a worked over 160 that I sent to dynomite diesel. . It flows over 800 cc's now. . They did a lot of work to it including plungers and barrels. Garmon said he's made over 700hp on a 160 pump with stock plungers and barrels. . He recommended running the 370's with the stock pump as well. .

I bought the 370's from Lenny at Dynomite Diesel. . He helps to feed my diesel addiction. . Just got off the phone with him not long ago. . How much does an hx40 go for? Thanks... .

I hope it works out for you ... We had our fits ... heres a video

On attempts to fix the flutter Ive found out that 5 diffrent sizes of DV dont help and we had to go to stock injectors other than beefing up the pump its self

Sold the 370's and lost about $200 on them they only had about 50 miles !!

They were EEP 375 HP 370 Marine Injectors

Maybe the ones you have will work with no flutter on the stock 160 ... Dont Know

To be honest with you, I only know what people tell me about running these with the stock pump. . I haven't tried it, so I don't know what my actual results will be. . You could see me on here complaining a little later on. . =)

Well, I drove the truck today, and it seemed fine putting around the parking lot. . I then got on the road, and while cruising, the steering wheel was turned 180 degrees to go straight. . He said he had a rebuilt steering box installed not long ago. . I told him I wanted the dodge dealership to inspect it, and tell me everything that's wrong with it. . I gave the people 100 bucks to show that I'm interested, and will take it if the problems aren't too costly. . We'll know tomorrow. .

By the way, a stock 94 stick shift truck is "really" sluggish. . Not worried about that though. . Seemed to run and shift ok...

The steering was not correctly clocked. Hour or 2 and and it will be fine...

Those small pump 12v's are kind of slow, with some mods it will be up to par with a new cummins 600... Anyways, go for it, sounds like a good deal. check under the door for rust...

I checked for rust. . Surprisingly, there was none. . The dash is cracked, and there's a knob missing off the ac controls. . The door panels also look very dry and scarred. .

With the steering, it was a little odd. . At low speed, the steering was straight. . As speed increased, the steering wheel had to turn until reaching 180 degrees to go straight. .
