the fuel tank on my 1995 is one big open area it has no baffles or wave stoppers. After market tanks for a 95 are impossible to find other than a bed mounted. What year of factory tanks will fit this 95 I would want one with baffles I believe the 95 is a 35 gal. tank.

I can't think of one vehicle that I have owned (and had to pull the tank for some reason) that has baffles in the gas tank.

No problem. the tank doesn't leak or anything the fuel gauge will tell you when you are braking or accelerating. I think a tank should be baffled newer ones are to the best of my knowledge. I was wondering what my options were. Thank you.

Games maybe i'am wrong I've see some with a wave breaker (baffle) in them. Maybe that the way it is.

Could be, I haven't had that many tanks open. For the Record it is GAmes, first initial, last name. Thankyou.

I don't remember my '95 being that way, at least before it quit working and I had to fix it.

I fixed mine by removing the lens from the cluster, taking an old gift card I'd trimmed to fit properly, wrapping it with black gaffers tape, laying it over the gauge and the low fuel light, and putting the lens back on. I used the trip meter after that and never once ran out of fuel.

I see a higher level when I'm climbing hills and a lower level while descending hills. If the tank had baffles it would still do that though. I don't see a need for baffles. It isn't like the fuel moving forward while braking affects the stability of the truck.

GAmes The G wasn't left off on purpose. About any after market fuel tank i've looked at is advertised as fully baffled i would rather think it would help with keeping air out of the diesel fuel and a continuous mixing. but the antilocks is my main issue if i can disconnect the way you said that is great i thank you

I designed and built my own aux tank that sits across the front of the bed. It has baffles to prevent side to side sloshing but the most important reason is to add strength so that i can stack things on top of it. Air in the diesel fuel is the least of my worries, however, I can see baffles as adding air into the fuel as it moves around the tank.
