Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1995 Speedometer working then not working

Hi,
I have a stock 1995 2599 TDR with 275,000 miles.
When the truck is cold the Speedometer does not work. After a while it tries to work or starts working after the truck warms up.
Yesterday i changed the Vehicle Speed. It starte working first thing this morning for about 10 seconds then back to not working.Looking for testing data.

Do you have a FSM? I prefer the paper when chasing wires.

Yes I do
6months after i got the truck i decided i was keeping the truck forever so i picked up the Service manual book from the local Dodge dealer.

There are wire diagrams in the FSM. Start tracing wires and checking for continuity. The VSS only has three wires and IIRC there is only one from the PCM to the speedo.
