I get my new (well for a CTD it's new with only 40K - just about run in :D ) engine next week in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Can anyone recommend a place in or nearby SLC that has a forklift (engine is on a pallet) to transfer it from the seller's truck to mine please?

I can't wait to get it back to my shop - first thing on the menu is the KDP, but bombing will have to wait until after it's installed in my military pick up - I figure it would be good to baseline the stock performance and running manners first before changing anything.

I've moved engines from truck to truck by jacking up the pallet, and putting rollers under the pallet with planks between the rollers and the pallet. Just be careful, because it moves very easily. You have to trig the rollers before you let the engine down on them. I use wood rollers about 48" long, but metal pipes might work. Probably a fella with a good crane wrecker can do it for you to. I've also met the truck at a local lumber yard, and they did it w/ their forklift. Good luck.
