Had it happen in Amarillo, Texas about three years ago and just by luck looked across the freeway and there was a diesel service center. They were closing so I said I would get some z's in the parking lot till they opened in the morning. Next day they tried three filters before finally one didn't leak. Just changed it today don't drive the truck that much. I has 144K miles and bought it 10 years ago and it had 122K. Guessing at the years but anyway. Put a wix33402 and hand tightened and went another turn. Opps must have been to much crimped the large seat gasket and found out later when I left a trail of diesel fuel all the way to my house. Put it on again and hand tighten and turned 3/4 same filter. Hope this works but ten to one won't. I think maybe the housing might be warped or whatever. Where do you purchase the spin on housing no one seems to know what I'm talking about. Just in case.

Take your pick. 3925600 Cummins p/n for my 96.

Think this is what you are looking for.

Maybe Geno' s carries this. Did not see it quickly on their site.

Is the filter leaking or the drain? I had two drain valves fail and finally went with a filter that did not take the drain valve.

Yeah I put a new drain on mine, the water in fuel was pieced together many many times. I redid the whole thing using a ip68 connector set up. Could have just left it off with a different filter, but got it to work.

They were just twisting the wires all up when removing the filter and not unplugging the water in fuel connector.

I did have to change the oring on the brand new drain, the one that came with the new drain leaked. But the one with the fleetguard filter was good. Sucked to have to make a complete mess, but I think you have to do that as part of your first filter change anyway.
