1996 LHS garage door opener programming

Our '96 Chrysler LHS came with a '95 owners manual and the manual does not explain how to program the built-in visor mounted garage door opener (passport feature?).



I called the dealer and asked the service dept how to program but they didn't know and promised they'd call back when they did. They didn't.



Anyway, does anyone out there know how to program this doohickey? We sucessfully programmed it once, but have forgotten how obviously.

I had to fuss a little with my '03 to get it to accept rolling codes for my garage door opener. If I recall correctly, I treated it like a new remote and used the opener to program it. If you go to the Home Link Website they might have directions available.
