I am selling my beloved 1997 Dodge Ram CTD 4x4 Long Bed extra cab with 195,000 miles. It's an automatic. This truck has power windows, power locks, and a factory installed alarm. I am bought the truck in 2001 and I believe I am the second owner. I was not planning to sell this truck so I recently installed some upgrades, but an opportunity arose to move and our new neighborhood does not have any parking for the dodge. It has brand new Toyo Open Country tires (maybe 1500 miles on these). I recently installed the solid steel industries 3rd generation track bar conversion kit and the steering box brace. The dowel pin is tabbed. I have all the parts to install the Sport Headlight conversion (Bright Box) sitting in the garage and will give to the new owner. It has a new stereo and a nice dash mat from Geno's. I also performed the Chevy 3500 drum brake cylinder mod a few years ago. The camper shell is a Callen (a very well respected and high quality shell). The camper shell is older than the truck and was made for the previous body style so the back of the shell was cut a bit to fit this body style. The shell is showing it's age, but is still very functional and great for camping.
The engine has no power up-grades except for an aftermarket cone style air filter. It's super reliable. It was not abused and only pulled a trailer a hand full of times. I take this truck on long road tirips to the mountains and camping all the time. Runs like a Cummins. The only things wrong with the truck are a cracked dashboard (covered nicely by the dash mat), the gas gauge is not working (very common and an easy fix), the CTD badge on the drivers side was torn off, and the drivers side power door lock actuator is not working. Also it's wired for PIAA fog lights but one of the lights was taken out by a rock and I have not replaced it. Cash only. If I can't sell it I will just trade it in, but I would rather see it going to a deserving owner that knows how great these trucks are.
