PRICE REDUCED TO $6990!Although I have said I would keep this truck until I die, I have decided to sell her. She has no job anymore, and she needs to work again. I would say this is probably the cleanest, most well equipped 1997 dually diesel offered anywhere. If you are looking for an el cheapo beater, look elsewhere. I love driving this truck so much, I will deliver it to anywhere in the US for expenses only. I have used it to pull a HiLo trailer, a fifth wheel, and a Host double slide pickup camper. Price is $7990. I am putting up a group of photos on a web site, but if you need a shot or something, just ask. EMail me at: -- email address removed --

Come on now guys and gals, the lack of a sale is making this ol gal sad. Surely SOMEBODY needs a good truck!

Great looking truck automatic? Miles? I'd feel guilty bringing it up to our snowand salted roads but , maybe store in winter.

Thom

I think the miles are now 218k now, automatic. It would need some gentle talking to about cold or snow, never seen that.

I know you are right, I miss it already and it is not even gone! I think I have used it at least every other day since deciding to sell it. Since I am a disabled vet, Texas even buys the plates for it every year even :D

Don't sell it. You'll hate yourself later.

I did sell it, to a couple who were going full time in it. Of all the RV's I have owned, and let me tell you I have owned them all from converted highway bus to tent trailer, that Host was the most enjoyable of them all! The price seems steep, but it was really a fun machine, and after years of use, I got my purchase price back for it.

I got more photos, email me at: -- email address removed -- and I will send you some.

Any other pictures? Did you sell your Host TC?

Don, I can't believe you're going to part with your beloved truck. Two of my better friends are selling their duallies, you and Macdaddy.

I'd keep the price at $7,990. It'll sell in the spring, not at Christmas time. Good luck Don.

Your friend, george

Yeah Grizzly, I can't believe it either. I finally figured that just having it sit around is not going to be good for it afterall. I keep it fresh by using it for a second car a lot. I am surprised it has not sold yet actually, seems to be a far better deal than anything else I can find competing with it.

I am amused at many "lookers", ask for mileage and when I tell them 218,000 they moan and talk that they wanted something to put to use now, not to have to put in a new engne right away! If one was ever going to make it to a million miles, this would be the one!

Sold

I actually had tears in my eyes as my truck I was so fond of drove away today, despite the wad of cash in my pocket. I will sure miss her!

Congratulations on selling your truck Don. I'm sure you will miss the old gal because I know you were very fond of it.

I felt the same way when I sold my 95, but I knew I had my 05 to look forward to. . There are still some things I miss about the 95, such as the rattle of the Cummins and super comfort of the cloth seats.

Take care, george

congrats

Hi and congrats on the sale of your truck. I'm sure it was hard to part with! I have had my truck for over a year now. I bought it in WA state but have since moved back to Iowa where my wife and I grew up. I know it will be a slow, rusty death for my truck now that we are here. I'm still very happy to have it.

I'm doing some research and found your posts from years back about Frybrid. Did you end up getting the Frybrid kit in your truck? I did not see it in your list of goodies at the top of this thread.

Thanks, T. J.
