Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1997 CC LWB 4x4 SLT Laramie auto what's it worth?

It has 78K miles, orig owner. Aluminum wheels and 285 tires. Fiberglass tonneau cover. The complete trans and converter was replaced @ 50K miles.

Every option(except leather), senior citizen owned unbombed stock truck. I have my doubts he ever had it in 4x4.

Rotella every 3K miles with all paperwork.

It's a truck in my development. I dont know the owner, but I've seen the truck around and it always looked well kept.

What would be a good price for this?

Eric, the Blue book value of a 97 fully loaded with low miles is around 15-16K. But, if it looks really clean and runs good, we all know what it's really worth!

Hummm... ... ... ... ... ... guy's asking 14,500. I believe he'd negotiate.

I was trying to talk my Dad out of his first gen and into this one, but I dont think he wants it either. He dont want an automatic.

Oh, I should mention, I did notice a small amount of rust running along the drivers door at the bottom of the door. It may have been surface rust, but I guess it's worth mentioning since I have nothing like that on my 98.

Thought it was a little unusual.
