Looking for someone in the area of south east Michigan to perform the kdp repair on my Cumins. 80 k miles like new

Repairing the kdp isn't that hard to do. It is time consuming. I have Joe G's and TST's write up on it. If you have tools and turn a wrench you should be able to to do it.

If not I hope you can find a shop.

IMO hardest part is driving in the new seal.

If you pound seal from the back side of timing gear cover it goes in easier. Of course you should use a large socket to do it with.
