Hi guys,

My left blinkers work normally. My right blinkers just started acting up. They blink, but so dimly that the dash blinker indicator doesn't even light up! I checked the grounds, and even added a new temporary ground just to verify. Checked the bulbs and wiring.
I thought I read somewhere on here that there have been issues with the turn signal switch assembly that maybe is indicated by this problem? I added the brite box and Ram sport lights about 6 months ago, but they had been working fine. I do have two add on trailer sockets, one in the bed and the other below the rear bumper. I did notice that the rear bulb looked slightly blackened like a short, but it still worked. I changed it anyway, with no improvement. Nothing else weird is happening.
Ideas maybe?

Thanks

I may have just answered my own question. It appears that there are replaceable turn signal indicator bulbs in the back of the dash. It may just be that the right turn indicator bulb is out and causing my problem.

That was it. The bulb twist scket was not making contact with the printed strips on the back of the instrument cluster. I had to install a little different style of twist socket to get it to make contact. Works normally now.
