There are so many variables that it is IMPOSSIBLE to say. Stock type tires with mostly stock engine will average in the mid to upper teens. Some will say they get LOTS more than that but everyone I personally know who ACTUALLY record EVERY tank all get in that range when averaged. Perfect conditions can net 20+ MPG that will be flat ground hwy below 65MPH. The single biggest viable will be how YOU drive.
SAndreason I don't tow with it much but the previous owner towed a decent size travel trailer behind it for much of the 150,000 miles he drove it. It was stock power though. I have increased it by 75-100hp and hammer on it pretty good, just rolled 180k.
So they guy I bought the truck from bought the engine from moonlight diesel and the told him it was supposedly a 2002 engine they showed him the truck it came out of supposedly. is there anyway to date the engine ? The years are conviently gone on the data plate
