1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT , auto, Cummins 5.9L Diesel, Quad cab, long bed, 4x4. 192k miles.

I've owned this truck for 19 of its 20 years and put most of the miles on it.

Over the years we have kept up with required maintenance and replaced or upgraded whatever was required. In just the last 5 or so years it has had the VP44, A/C heater core and radiator system replaced, along with getting a new dashboard because the original one was cracked. It has a recent front brake job and runs and drives great.

For anyone that knows these trucks. The Cummins is a very powerful engine. A few years ago the turbo restrictor was removed which allows more of the raw Cummins power to come through (now has 30 lbs of boost instead of the factory 20lbs of boost) an AirDog high performance fuel system, Edge Programmer and a 4" Magnaflow exhaust system were also installed. The Transmission was then rebuilt by AUSTEX in Pflugerville with heavy duty components to properly manage the increased power.

In addition it also has an Alpine stereo system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android auto.

I plan to upgrade to a large travel trailer soon, and have purchased a new higher tow capacity truck so it is now time for this well maintaned vehicle to find a new home.

First $9950 cash takes it. Price is firm. No trades will be considered. Cash only.

There is sun fade to some of the interior and exterior and we have a few small dings in various places from use over the years. Overall a very solid truck in great condition for its age.

Located in Austin Texas. Call or text five one two, 289- six 45 eight if interested.

Forgot to mention that is also has the following

Brown's Welding bumpers & running boards, black aftermarket rims, Michelin 245x75x16 AT's, Moog front end steering components, Edelbrock IAS shocks, ATP Quiet Kit, Borgenson steering gear box, Borgenson steering shaft.

Updating the equipment from my signature that is a little out of date.

Brown's Welding bumpers & running boards, black aftermarket rims, GoodYear Wrangler 245x75x16 AT's, Moog front end steering components, KYB Gas-a-Just shocks, ATP Quiet Kit, Borgenson steering gear box, Borgenson steering shaft.

Turbo restrictor? You’re kidding right?

With regards to the "turbo restrictor". These trucks came factory with an elbow that had a preset orifice size that caused the wastegate to restrict boost pressure to 20lbs max. Some call that a "turbo restrictor or limiter".

That elbow has been replaced with an adjustable orifice one from BD and the wastegate now limits at 30lbs of boost. Hence, the max turbo boost is no longer "restricted" to 20 lbs of boost.
