I have a friend at work who has a '99' Dodge Cummins 12 valve auto, I think it has a 3:55 gear ratio. His question is, can you add a fueling box to this engine or not? And if so, what to expect??????????ThisOo. or this:{. And why!!!!!!!!!
99 12 valve huh? Methinks it's a 24. Plenty he can do. As for the cost, how fast does he want to go?
If I had it to do again, I might've put injectors in first, then a fueling box. Now I am faced with replacing the "small" EZ and installing a DDUFM Drag box. It can get expensive upgrading injectors, boxes, and turbos several times.
will need some beefing up to handle any extra power. I have heard it said that 50 extra horses is OK (EZ or DD1's) but I think the life of the transmission is ultimately shortened with more power.
