Is your fuel heater in the Filter canister ? If so I may have a spare One .

fuel heater is in mounting bracket that holds canister. it sets in the top of this bracket held in by 3 screws from the bottom.

White06 you should be able to get the heater from Cummins. Find the engine serial number and 4-digit CPL number from your engine ID tag (on the timing case on the driver side at front of engine) and call Cummins. Tell us where you are at and I can find the number online. $1400 repair. . . that's nuts. Part should be in the $50-$100 range tops & should be a pretty easy DIY repair.

You can click here to select what region of the US you're in, then click LOCATIONS then click your State on the left to find the Cummins outlet closest to you

Also make sure your fuel heater connector isn't melted, that should be a pigtail you can replace (ask Cummins, should be able to get that also).

Mine is totally gone, went with a Glacier Diesel System GFS-392. Pump, big line kit, 2 micron filter the whole sha-bang for around $400. never had a problem since going on 4 years now. Only thing I don't need the fuel heater where I live it gets cold but not that cold. Depends on your need. Glacier Diesel Power
