1999 one ton tires

Go for it Dave, No problem. I put 235'5 on my 99 dually about 5000 miles ago. No signs of rubbing at all even with my 4000 lb lance camper in the bed. :D

235x85Rx16

I've run 235s as my winter tires ever since I bought mine in '99 and I now have over 40k miles on them. I have no sign of interference between the duals.

I have 235x16 Michelins on my 98. 5 and they work fine. No interference even with 2600 lb. 5th. whl. hitch weight on it.

My mileage correction is +4%. I verified it by measurement around the tire and by one mile markers on the highway.

Miles driven x 1. 04/ gals. used = mpg.

255/85/16!!!!

superdave:

just put on BFG 255 85 16's on my 99! they look great! they touch a tiny bit( 1 inch) on the rear's bottom. no scuffing or wear marks between the tires though. i'm going to order alcoa alloy wheels tomorrow to see if i can space them out some. if they still touch, i'm going to install some spacers. do you haul anything? you can't use spacers and overload your truck:( i'll let ya know if the alcoa's work. i found a company that sells them for $135 a piece! they look way better those stock ones! good luck with whatever you do..... james

Ramhead3437, How about sharing the info on those Alcoa's when you get them..... I'm sure at that price, everyone would be interested!!!!!
