1999 QC 2500 4x4 GCWR?

Per Trailers Life's guide my 99 CTD with 3. 5 gears, 4x4, auto trans is rated to pull a #9900 trailer..... Can this be correct? Does anyone else has this stock running gear setup & have the combined weight ratings for truck & trailer loaded?

Any help would be appreciated.

Just ran across the numbers for the 1999's

My wife and I were just cleaning the house and found the data sheets I used to pick my truck.



The 2500 auto with 3. 54 gears is 16,000 GCWR and 9,900# trailer.



Personaly I am just over that. Exh brake and EGR and probably Boming here I come... ;-)



4. 10 was 18,000.
