2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 1999 ram sport-front hitch have to trim front fasica any pics

Does anybody know if you have to trim front fasica on sport for front hitch or any installation pics

I'm not sure about all front receiver hitches, I have a Hidden Hitch (IIRC) on my 2002 Sport. I would have had to trim the fascia. I don't use it for anything very heavy, so I had a shop cut the receiver tube off and weld it back on below the cut off stub. It only lacked about 1/2" or so of bolting on. I didn't want to cut the bottom of the Sport bumper.

I installed a curt hitch on my '01 and used a razor to cut a square hole in the air dam. Then i slit it at the bottom. I installed the hitch first and then reinstalled the air dam, flexing it over the hitch tube for a snug fit. I posted pics on here a couple years back.

I bought my Curt via Amazon (free shipping) and had to trim the air dam on my regular 3500.
