Just to mention that if the weather is bad, another meeting place will be posted. In addition, a new Fleetguard LF3894 oil filter and the original class IV receiver (less the connection box) from a 2001 2500 will be given away to some lucky person(s) at the meeting.

Right now our startup club is not affiliated with any other chapter. At the beginning of November, when the Southeastern TDR group meets, we will look at the possibility of joining up.

We will probably be shifting meeting locations (towns) each month based on inputs from our members. Plan for next Saturday, it should be fun!

You're right, Stan. I forgot to mention that in case of bad weather, we'll still meet at the park, then caravan over to my house. I only live about 1/2 a mile from the park, as the crow flies. But, trying to explain how to get to my house would be a nightmare.

David:

You probably already know this but
Pete Peterson and I will DEFINITELY
be there! We are trying to "gather
up" some of the other Dodge CTD
owners in our area down here. We'll
keep you posted!

BTW, you have a nice truck!!!

Bring 'em on, John_P. A big crowd would be nice. I don't think any of the VA gang can make it, so we'll have to take up the slack. Send me an email and I'll add you to the distribution list.

David ...

I just got back from my trip to Arkansas ... I'm going to try to make it down there . . just don't know at this point whether or not I can fit the trip in (too many family problems). I should know better by Thursday. Hopefully I'll have the second start-up package from TDR so we can get going. I'm willing to share the ride with any others in the Tidewater area if I can go.

I second that. The day for it was great, it could not have been better. Everything was great. I'm in for the next get together, if time permits. Looking at all the things that the BOMBERS are doing to their trucks looks addicting. With that said, " bring it on !!!!!!!! "
Thanks again.

David, personal thanks from Mo and I to you and Kim for setting up our first official club meeting. Sure was interesting seeing a parking lot full of Rams with their hoods up! I should have counted, but I bet there were at least 20 of us in attendance. Can't wait til the next meeting!!

Thanks again David and Kim - great job!

Thanks to everyone who attended. I think a good time was had by all. I know we said we wouldn't have another meeting till January, but maybe we could find a weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas when we could have a little get together. Possibly in Jax?

I've got to go to CA on some family business in the next couple of days. If I don't have time to send the pics, you can check them out at Meeting Pics.

John, I'll get you my address as soon as I can. Pete, I'm interested in the dual pyro thread. I haven't had time to check into it, but I'll try. I may need your advise. We'll touch base when I get back.

Being fairly new to the group I was late getting the info on the gathering in Rocky Mt. Could you please let me know about the next time you all get together I'd love to meet some fellow CTD owners.

Do any of you from this area plan on attending the event in Townsend. It sounds great to me, believe the wife and I will take the trailer up.

.
I am looking at leaving Actionville ( Jacksonville) at about 0500 on the 4th that should put me in Tenn. the afternoon of the 4th. I will be going out 40 west and I am sure that Rambo and your self will pass me up . When I am towing things I take my time the max I do is 65/70 MPH. I will see you there.

NC/VA club members,
Greetings from the NW. I have been following your posts and wishing I could have been there. Rocky Mount, NC is my home town and I travel there often to visit friends and relatives. Good luck on your new club. Hopefully I will be able to attend one of your outings in the future.

1BIG44, there are at least two members from our club going to the Townsend meeting. With a little bit of luck we may have one of the 'new' PE units available to try on our trucks (got my fingers and toes crossed!!).

Sounds like both our local club and the SETDR are really starting to go into high gear.

I personally will be arriving at the Best Western in Townsend friday evening and leaving the following monday morning. Hoping for a good turnout!
