Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1st gear missing

Hi guys, my first post and I have to start off with a question.

My '98 cc with an auto has developed a little problem I would rather not have to deal with all the time. On a few occasions on first start in the morning she wont take off in 1st gear (takes off in 2nd) until I shut it off and start it up again, then everything is ok again. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help

when you crank it in the morning put it in nutral befroe you put it in drive, After about 5 secounds put it in drive and go. Tell me if this works for you.
