It must be the spring weather or something, but I was having fun on the way home. I was waiting to turn left today and got caught by the light. A youger gentleman in a 4 door maroon Caddy pulled up on my right with his bass thumping so loud I could feel it in my truck. I thought about tunning the straight pipe up to compete, but did not find this totaly productive as I was behind him by a car length. The light changed and the lady in front of me turned, so I pulled up beside the hip hopping Caddy. I then proceded to tactfully stand on the brake and put the Cummins at WOT for a short blip. Noiise and a gray cloud smoke shot out the 3. 5" pipe through the Caddy and was coming out the passenger side windoow. The straight pipe was loud enough that the annoying thump of the bass momentarily disappeared. Oo. When I let of the go pedal the turbo whistle was the icing on the cake. I then just drove off through the intersection like an old man. I figured if this guy could annoy me and the surround block for a while, I could at least return the favor. The best part was watching the group of people standing on the street corner looking and laughin. :D OK, I will go back to being normal. Sorry for the long post, but I thought a few of you might appreciate it.

BTW, I didn't drive dangerously or do anthing to put others in danger.

I used to drive a 68 W300 setup as a service truck with a built 360

trafic was merging & there was someone in a beemer next to me that wouldent back off (trying to cut) their drivers window was rite next to my rear 33 12. 5 26. 5 stuck it in 2nd wet pavment droped the clutch & floored it the mechanical 2ndairy holly went woop in the loveley deep tone it made:) only briefly than backed off with the tire spinning rite next to the driver he backd off pretty quick too

Im not one for road kill stories or agressive driving but being a person who has driven heavy work trucks for a long time peoples lack of understanding reguarding heavy vehicles sometime angers me & I have occaisionaly used my size to make a point when nesessary

take care

I LOVE IT!! That is too funny...

The only story like that that I can relate is when I was driving out of my brother's neighborhood early last summer, a couple of kids (maybe 10 or 12 years old) thought they'd be cute and ride their bicycles slowly right in front of me for a little over a block. Thankfully for me, they finally pulled off to the right allowing me to dump the biggest soot cloud on them my truck's ever done! My brother was in the truck with me, and he about died laughing. :D

Boy oh boy, I never raised you up to be like that..... geezzz..... You know better... you shoulda assisted the lady into the intersection THEN dusted the HOB... :D:D:D

ps: HOB = Hat On Backwards.

LOL. I am going to have to watch out for you guys when I am undercover in the "Delorian" (silver '86 Subaru hatchback). I'm afraid one of these hoped-up diesels is going to smoke me for being to slow off the line, or having my CB radio too loud. :-laf I live in a college town, so “speed racers” with their loud stereos is a familiar site. I just let the HOB’s go about their business. I guess I am getting used to them.

Hey I'm one of these "speed" racers with a loud stereo, well maybe not, but they are fun to play with. The import cars are about right for the exhaust to go through the windows. Too bad I put a turn down tip on, (the white car I park next was black on the rear fender for some reason, thought I would be nice) summer time is around the corner, more windows down:D alonzo

My wife even lauged at this incident

I figured I would post this bit of fun b/c it seems as though the board has been somewhat slow. Anyway, his fellow didn't have a hat on, but he looked like he was laying down while he was driving. He had his hand arched over the steering wheel but was only holding on to to the wheel with his wrist. I guess that is how you look cool in your grandma's car. If I can't hear Hank Jr. over something else, then there is something wrong. Oh well, it was funny, but now I have to be semi-grown up again. However, my wife was riding with me and even started laughing. Didn't even get a lecture :D Have a great day guys!
