1st gen air bags / lowering

Has anyone seen an air bag system for the 2wd 1st gen? How about lowering components in general? I have a couple projects in mind, but am having a hard time finding any suspension parts for a 1st gen. 150, cummins, or otherwise.



Any info would be great!

From what I've seen, the air bag system for the rear axle will work on the 2 & 4wd. I know there are several members who have those setups. I don't think there is a problem with running these on the D models.

PG - are you keeping the leafs? If not I'm building an airbag setup right now for my 78 Ramcharger - same chassis basically. Here's a link to the site where I'm doing the build:
