Dang, I wish I could make it, but driving from Wyoming might be a little unrealistic with the time frame I have to deal with.

Have fun:D

Hey Bob, i'm in for sure, I might pick up a auxiliary trans cooler if I have any money, and maybe a 16cm housing. I'm hoping I can get Piers to give me the run down on all the pump adjustments in person. I'll see all of you guy's in a couple weeks. :)

You fellows that are coming on saturday are going to be in for an extra treat... . at least I'm hoping so:rolleyes: Louise brought me a Cabelas turkey fryer for Christmas, so guess who I'm trying it out on:D If anybody has used one of these and have any hints please let me know, it may save some tummy aches ;)

Use peanut oil. It can take the heat. I like to hang my turkey in a tree and shoot it up with marinade. I geuss you are doing a turkey but you can do a chicken or a roast whatever. Heat that oil to 350 and then you are ready to drop your bird. When you drop the bird in the oil get ready because it will boil over as all that water is vaporized in the hot oil. Do this out side because it may catch on fire. Hit the propane to it as soon as you drop the bird because the oil temp will drop like a rock. The bigger the pot and more oil the better. You are looking at about 3. 5 minutes per pound. Be careful ! do it outside. I am not joking about the fire. Dont be shy with the propane after you drop the bird; put the heat to it. Watch the propane before you drop or you will overheat the oil. Cajuns like to throw a match on the oil and when it will light they are ready to go(if you dont have a temp guage) Buy some marinade or use soy and butter and some cayenne. Good luck! You'll spend more on oil than the bird will cost. Let that oil cool and run it through one of those permanent cofee fiters and save it for next time

I've seen his cooking. All I can say is his dogs eat good.

Sorry I won't be able to make it now. LOL

Ok, I will drink lots of milk or something to coat my stomach. :D

Hello out there, just joined the TDR and think it is great.

I own a 1993 rattler and have had it since it was new.

Have got a lot of helpful information off this site, Will at

Marine Chrysler informed me about the Piers day and really

am looking forward to it. See you on Saturday, have some questions about the 16cm and may even buy one.

Mike

Turkey Frier! Hell wrap that puppy in some foil, toss it under the hood of Marks truck and let him take it around the block a couple of times. :-laf

Really wish I could make it but its just a little too far. Oh well... .

I don't know, it sounds awful tempting. Why can’t it be just a little closer (aprox. 7 hours and 15min). I might go skiing Friday, if so I wont make it. If I don’t. …. . well anything is possible. If I don't make it I want all of you to have extra fun for me. :D

Mike

I know what you mean Mike. Its in the 18 hour range for me, a couple more for jbolt. I want to go up but it will have to be for a few more days duration. Too damned old to drive up one day, spend a day there and then turn around and drive home. Used to be able to do that but its getting tougher all the time.

Stan

Just found out today that I have to work Saturday:mad:

Was looking forward to spending some time and money in Canada, the home of the Cummins and Auto transmission Master B. O. M. B. er's:D :D :D

You all have a great time, fill us in on what we missed:( :(

Later,

Caleb

Those that are coming to PDR's bomb party please remember to bring your tools and at least 1 step or stool, as the shop will be busy.
