I'm not positive but I do not think so. I believe that the 1 tons were all duals.

I remember reading on here about conversion to 1 ton single wheel I think.

Sorry I couldn't be more positive about this one.

A friend of mine has a pre-intercooled 1991 W-350 SRW truck. It is identical to my 1992 W-250 except it came with a higher GVW and larger rear brakes (3" out of the factory). The springs are the same width and length as mine. There are also the same number of springs. The truck has a Dana 70 under it. Hope that helps.

yes

The donor truck I used for my conversion was a bone stock 1990 1 ton 4x4 reg cab single rear wheel. They made some this way. Don't know how many.

I think the SRW 1 tons were more common out on the West Coast, my Dad said the Logger's preferred them over the Duallys. I think that the Dually were more common in areas that moved a lot of livestock or RV trailers.

I have had 3 1 ton single rear trucks in the last few years

92 W350 standard cab single rear wheel

93 W350 Standard cab single rear wheel

(converted to 91 Diesel Ramcharger)

85 Crew cab D350 Single Rear wheel Longbed

(Soon to be converted to Diesel)

I believe that my 91 D 250 has a one ton axle.

I bought new rear drums last year and none of the available 3/4 drums fit.

What finally fit was what I was told are 1 ton drums. They were Wagner part # BD 60328 if anybody can decipher the part number and tell for sure.

They had 2 1/2 inch shoes and 1" dia cyls.

my truck is a 1 ton single rear wheel 4x4 from the factory it has the heavier 4500lb front axle its dana 60 front dana 70 rear

1989 w350 4x4 regular cab 727 3spd auto and 3:07 gears
