Competition 1st nite at the track

I went to edgewater last nite. First time running the new truck.



I saw some other Dodge diesels there too.



My bone stock truck ran a best of 17. 932 secs with a trap speed of 76. 73 mph.



60 Ft. time was 2. 509 secs

330 time was 7. 403 secs

1/8 mile was 11. 483 secs at 59. 72 mph

1/4 mile was 17. 932 secs at 76. 73 mph

Gross weight (with my big A** in the truck) 8,200 lbs.



I actually beat a 2003 Mustang cobra off the line and for the first 120 ft or so of this run. He did run a 13. 90 at 108, but I spanked him at the start





I started out running a 19. 803 at 74



Can't wait to start bombing it.



Whens' that Edge box gonna be ready (not the ez one)

Is my time in line with others for a stock 3500. Or, Has no-one else ran a '03 3500 at the track???

Thats what my truck ran stock, thats smokin pretty good for a 6spd.

My 02 without injectors at Las Vegas went 17. 29 with box off 16. 12 on 5X5,tried last friday night but could not get it to hook up,and only did a best of 17. 02@94mph. with injectors.

My truck weighs about 7300 with me in it, and I've got 315s and a DPP exhaust. I ran a 18. 06 at 74 stock with a 2. 33 60', with my 5 speed SO. Added a EZ Edge and ran a 15. 9 at 84 with a 2. 06 60'. Gained about 90 rwhp with 70hp box, not bad. My nephew Billy has an HO/Auto and ran a 16. 3 at 80, stock and 15. 3 at 87 with the EZ, his runs were all done in 2wd, mine where in 4x4.



Nice to know me and my nephew are not the only ones who run their trucks at the track stock. Thanks for posting times.

HO auto ran a 16. 3 at 80 stock, after we added the ez to his truck it ran a 15. 3 at 87. His truck didn't gain as much power from the EZ as mine did. I'm guessing he gained 70rwhp.



My SO 5 speed is riding on 315/70/17 BFG's and I carry a tool box with some tools and a bed mat. My stock numbers where nothing to brag about 18. 06 at 74, but after the ez I ran a 15. 9 at 84. I think I gained about 90rwhp form the ez.

Fun isn't it?!

I ran mine last year at the Rockingham NC NHRA track. They have a "test N tune" night on Friday nights. My best stock run was 18. 9@73, and with the old Edge 3-light fueling module on level 3, my best was 16. 2@86. My truck is a 2001 2500 quad-cab short bed 4x4 SO (ETC) NV4500 5 speed. Weighed in at 6,800 Lbs.



Since then I've added 275 injectors and it runs much stronger so I can't wait to see what it runs now. Still have the stock clutch.

Actually I kind of expect it to slip next time I run it at a track.

The '03 HO with 6 speed is rated at 305 HP and 555 Ft Lbs of torque from the factory. Its a large improvement over the earlier HOs.

keep it up my 93 4x4 dually runs 15 at 92 mph





with a 5 spd in 2 wheel drive i will not try 4x4 in a drag race

he has a 2003 furd 6. 0L/auto and chip + 5 inch...



i have a 2003 SO/5-speed,



so i told him take off the chip and I will borrow a ho/auto and will make him eat his words, cause he's talking alot of smack

Man the 03 needs some help!best it did was 18. 6:{ got beat by a ford!but it had a few things done to it. nice guy tough. But on the other hand the my kid in the 96 did pretty good 14. 19 up here!good turn out of dodges a few fords and no duramax.

those dual rear wheels is your problem for being slower than swayse. that is why i aint got no training wheels. (i dont haul heavy enough often enough)



dd2's 80hp+juice 110hp+ kwickkurt+larger fuel lines+clutch=455hp(high 13's)



this combo will not detract from engine reliability(unless you rag it daily)



had a dually on my tail (me no smoke)the other day me stock he(had smoke) had some kind of chip we had almost even power @105mph .



weight kills but man his truck looked good lifted w/ 6-35" tires all the way around

If you need someone to back you up, I will come up to spank a furd. I beat (badly) a gt stang last Friday at Rogersville.

13. 27 @103 with the weight distribution hitch and a genos hula skirt hanging off the reciever. . Still had the fifth wheel hitch in the bed too.
