Hello all #ad

Changed my oil today for the first time, and am happy to say that It was a breeze. Filter was awfully tight though. My purpose of this post was to thank everyone for all their great info on this site. Sure makes things easy when you don't know what the he** you're doing #ad

I too did my first oil change this weekend. It wasn't bad at all except that I put 12 qts of oil into it like I use to do to my old 91 Cummins. I also went through all the intercooler clamps and torqued em down, a few of them were loose. Also torqued the exhaust manifold bolts down but found none were loose. All in all, not a bad experience. After looking in the engine bays of my buddy's Powerstroke and a new Duramax, I can imagine what a pain it would have been to do the same things on those motors, heck, you can barely see the **** things.
