Hi guys, I don't know if I'm following the correct protocol here, but I'm hoping someone can help with some info. I have a completely stock '92 D250 I bought about 2 years ago with 240k on the clock for $4k. I haven't had any major issues with it until late last week when I went out to leave the house on it, it turns over, but no start. Having never failed to crank right up, I pop the hood and see fuel dripping from the rear of the injection pump. I pulled it off and it seems to be leaking between the pump body and the outlet block on the rear where the outlet line nipples mount. Are there reseal kits for these available to the public, or will I need to let a professional build this thing? I got a couple of quotes today locally for stock rebuilds, one was between $400 and $900, and the other was $650. I followed the link someone here posted to PDR's website and called to get a rebuild quote, but all their guys were busy, so I told the receptionist I'd call back later. What I'm getting at is I only gave $4k for the truck, so I'd like to get the most bang for my buck when I decide which avenue to take, and I'm not averse to going the performance route (I ride a Yamaha R1 to work every day), I just don't want to go into my daughter's college fund to do it... . lol. Thanks in advance for any advice, and can someone tell me where the KDP ("killer dowel pin?") is located? I gather it's a bad thing if it comes adrift, but I haven't found the thread with the good technical bits in it yet... . --Todd
