Well I've had the truck for one year now so I thought I'd post my results. When I first started reading the TDR I didn't know much about diesels. So for the last year I've just been listening and learning. I've gotten real good at doing common maintenance but don't have any repair experience on these trucks - nothing ever goes wrong with it!

I know most folks post to the board only when they have problems. So, I thought it would be fair to post that my truck has been great this year. No engine problems, no funny noises, sounds great, no leaks, starts very easily, no steering wander, no gauge problems, pulls hard, great fit and finish, generates envy and jealousy in others, and great mileage makes other vehicle owners very angry. I even pulled that IAT sensor a few weeks ago and it looked bran new!

I'd like to personally thank the members of this board who have posted advice and instructions. I've learned a great deal from this site and have had a lot of fun reading the post. If an opportunity ever arises where I can help someone on the board I'll do the same.

And by the way. I was sitting in my favorite chair when I was trying to come up with a TDR user name. In case you were wondering...

LazyBoy... is your favorite chair positioned in front of your computer... you could sit comfortably while browsing your favorite site!

Welcome to the TDR and your first post. The more you drive that Cummins, the more you will love it. I have had mine for over two years this time, and I love it more every time I drive it. I have had similar trouble-free experiences.

Check out the Travel Companion... it is a good way to provide help to other members. Troubles come in lots of ways... trailer bearings, flats, etc. This feature of the TDR is pretty cool.

Sky, don't have the fever yet. But I hear it's very addictive - and satisfying.

Hanson, the chair and PC thing isn't a bad idea. The wife already says I love the truck and the PC more than I lover her. If I pulled the old Lazy-Boy chair up to the PC... well I'd probably have to wear body-suit protective gear and watch for flying objects! ((Breaking glass sounds in the background)). Guess I keep using the old office chair

Funny thing about the wife though. Every time we go somewhere she wants me to drive her there in the truck! Never wants to take her car???
