Hey B&W hitch owners, will airbags work?

Oh yea, just came back from weekend towing Jeep on trailer. I am impressed. 12 mpg rather than 8 mpg with last gasser. More power. Oh, shouldn't say that just in case wife reads this. It was fun passing Suburbans pulling TT's and just whistling past them and watching the look on their faces :--) Oh yea, life is good!

What kind of trailer are you using to tow the Jeep? Are you using trailer brakes? Got a picture? I have a Wrangler that I would like to tow but am still up in the air about how to go about doing it. I was thinking of flat towing it.

Sounds familiar! Same here when I switched to my '93. :D

RADdodge - I'd use a trailer - if you use the Jeep on trails where there is any chance of breaking it. It's nice to be able to put it on a trailer to get it home even if you broke something that might not allow flat towing. Easier on the Jeep, too. I use a gooseneck with a camper up front and room for the Jeep behind it.

I'd trailer it for the same reasons that Fitz gave, if you break it, at

least you can get it home once you get it back to the trailer.

I may not have a Jeep but I take my off roading pretty seriously

and I have broken things once or twice.

RADODGE, I have a car hauler, dual axle, with surge brakes. Flat towed for a while but like the others said it is hard on the equipment plus if you break you can winch it up on the trailer and away you go. One other benefit I like is being able to lay on your back on a clean trailer and survey any damage you may have done on trail. Plus, I have a small tent that I use for camping that I can set up on the trailer deck. It is good to be off the damp ground and if it really rains hard you are not left floating in water.

Towing my Jeep was the only reason I bought my Cummins. I bought a dual axle trailer with dual electric brakes. Newer Jeeps have C clips that are not great to flat tow when broke.
