1st weekend with the toybox and "toy"

Had fun out in a local area to try out my new toybox and Quad. Neat place here, sand dunes and hills, Quad climbs like a mountain goat!!



Going to Moab in september to do some trails there...

Just to also let you know this is the first time I was able to weigh it with everything, quad, (700#) , water, fuel, gas for the quad and gen. (35 gal. ) and 3 adults and 2 dogs. (and a partridge in a pear tree... . )

Firewood, food, clothes.....



front axle was 4300

rear axle was 5200 (I did an adustment on the WD bars so this is less now)

Trailer wheels 9840. (might be hevier since wood and like will be back in the rear instead of the truck)

Total weight was 19,400 !!! Not bad ... .



THe trip computer showed 11 MPG when on the flat and the hensley arrow hitch is simply amazing! I have pulled a TT before abeit lighter but there is absolutley NO fishtail, almost feels like a 5th and is super easy to back. No removing the WD bars when unhooked, easy to adjust once you get everything set the way it needs to be.....



The jake E-brake I have is very usefull, saves the brakes alot!!

None out there... . Right next to the salt flats. about 40 miles east of Wendover NV. In utah and next to the Bonneville Bombing range.

All the vegetation there is out there is what you see, the bushes... . nothing but sand rocks and hills
