I'm ready to try and bring my front end back up to stock height, the bump stops are only an 1" or so away from the springs. Can anyone confirm that the 2 1/2" softrides will in fact bring a sagging front end back up to stock level? Has anyone solved the front shackle bushing problem which occurs when you have 5/8" bolts and the bushings are for 1/2" bolts? I plan on installing the Borgenson steering shaft also, do I need the adjustable drag link with this setup or is that only for a lift over stock height? Thanks.

I ran into the bushing problem when I put the Skyjacker rear springs on , Skyjacker makes both size bushings, I had the 5/8 bolts and the bushings were a ***** to put in the spring eyes. Did'nt have any problems with the front.

You will most likely need an adjustable drag link to center the steering wheel.

I'm in the same situation right now, front end is sagging, except my bumb stops are almost on the leaf spring. I'll let you know how the 2. 5" lift does in a week or so, its ordered and should be here monday but I'll be in CA for a week. I hoping it does bring the front end up and give it a better ride so girls will actually enjoy riding in it, as much as they do in my friends 02 HO, I just tell them mines faster. alonzo

Hey rwsj, what kind of bushings did you get for the front springs? I know that I have 5/8" bolts on my truck and the way I understand it skyjacker only made bushings for 1/2" bolts and some guys were removing the metal insert from the bushing and simply using it that way. The problem was that the bolts couldn't be tightened down then. Hey thanks for the info.
