Hello Everyone,my Trans Acts Up Every Now And Then Shifting From 2nd To 3rd,have To Letto Let Up On The Throtle To Get It To Shift. also Some It Acts Like When A Automatic Is Low On Fluid And Wont Engage When I Start Moving For The First Time After Setting Overnight. sometimes I Have The Shifting Problem And Other Times It Works Perfectly, theres No Slippage In Any Of The Gears. theres 210,000 Miles On It All Highway Miles. any Ideas Anyone?thanks, bill

It is likely to have a governor pressure problem, for the delayed shift. It could also be the ground speed senor. Govenor pressure sensor and trans ducer are in the pan, on the valvebody. About $150 for parts.

The slow start issue with a cold, sitting for several days, trans is converter drain back. This is called morning sickness by some.

It is very normal for a high mileage dodge to do this. You can start the motor, shift it to neutral for 30 seconds and this allow the converter to fill. It should drive away fine then.
