Oo. We had a Bob from LE discuss oils and lubrication. Then Rob from Justice Brothers demonstrated radiator sealant, we testes a number of different oils. This was a unique test, only to find Rottella didn't fair to well and Delo was a rather decent. Then we tested with engine oil treatment, some did quit well before lockup. I will post official results when completely done.

The big news was 12 diesels at drag strip 10 Dodges, 1 Ford, 1 Duramax, great night of racing, but it was hot, Phoenix was 111 and at 10:30 pm it was still 102. Ben, was the fastest diesel of the night running a 13. 84

Just for the heck of it after meeting we decided to take K-45 turbo off a 03 Dodge and put a stocker on. Then we went to race. WOW- Jim Obyrnes truck ran a 13. 54 while temp was 109 hot. EGT's were out of control. Just wanted to see results. Next we will try quick spool B-1/ machined stock turbo with HX 40 internals.

Thank you to all that participated in racing/meeting. A special thanks to vendor's and Ben at A-Z Diesel, for donation of time food and facility.

2nd Meeting

We also need to thank Ken with Turbo Auto Diesel for stopping by with water and soda and I think he bought the big sandwich along with Ben. Ken builds the B-1 series of turbos along with the K-45 and many others. Next order of bussiness is when and where to have our next meeting. My vote is to have the next one somewhere in the White Mountains where its cooler, but we need to hear from everyone on this, don't be shy.
