Looking into 2" lift spring blocks for front and the kits come with trailing arms etc. all I want is the blocks, do I need to change the link arms too or ? How has everyone else lifted the front of their 4x4 did you just do blocks or do I need to do trailing arms as well?

I got mine on Ebay for about $100. Do a search for "dodge ram lift" and buy the Daystar blocks. Not the ones with the trailing arms. They are not needed. Plus you keep the stock ride. I have run mine since new and it is great. 2" blocks almost make it level. Looks good and levels out when I haul the trailer.

Depends on your tire/wheel combo.

With mine I still need to add a little to at least one of the arms. Most likely the top arm.

Jerry,i like em fine. They are the brushed aluminum look type. According to Bilstein their "stock" shock applies to to my application,i. e. 2" leveling kit. Although i must admit the valving on the fronts dosent seem as good as the bilsteins that were on my '02 F-250 crew 4x4. Mark.
