Does Anyone Want to Talk About Trucks ??

Fuel boycots don't work?

I've got a co-worker that is replacing his furnace from an old heating oil type to a gas and needs to be rid of his 300 gallon tank which is still half full of mostly #2 heating oil (Last two fills were #2 only). Is this the same as #2 diesel fuel or something different. I have no idea

Aside from possibly getting a tank for next to nothing, can the leftover fuel be used in my truck?

I suppose if this is the same as #2 diesel, it is probably "dyed" since no road taxes have been paid on it?

Someone fill me in...

It's dyed red for home heating or off road... ... road taxes don't apply to this fuel oil... you could use it in your farm equipment. .

i know when we had the monitor heater here, that the oil that we got was Number 2 diesel but was dyed purple in color and yes it burns very well in the cummins.
