2 low

i'm kind of new here and have noticed several of you talk about the 2 low switch. were can i get info on this?

B&D sells the 2wd Lo kit for about $89.
Real easy install and well worth it if you are backing a trailer alot.

This is a very simple trick! I used a very small 12v solenoid switch that stops the vacuum going to the switch on the transfer case. If you are interested I can give you the number of the switch, and how to do it.

J. C. Whitney lists a cable engagement setup in their Dodge catalog to replace the unreliable vacuum setup to engage 4 wheel drive on the front axle. It's better than locking hubs- you can control 4wd from the cab.

If you don't engage the cable 4wd when you put it into low range, you get 2wd low.
