i just returned from 3 weeks towing. Two events happened that i have not seen before. i'm hoping someone in the community can point me in a direction to look.
1). Living in newMexico, i seldom use wipers, maybe once a year. In northern CA, it rains. When i turned on the wipers and the TourqConvert is locked, it misbehaves. Locking and unlocking. Turn off the wipers, the TC is well disciplined again. i have a full ATS trans, including CoPilot TC controller.
Strange. With wipers off, all is well. Ground??? but where.
2). Pulling up a grade and the boost needle sits on 16# after a few seconds the rig shutters, sort of like a miss. If i ease up to 15# all is well, or push it to 17# or on up into the 20s all is smooth, it is just 16# that the Cummins doesn't like. I have an Edge EZ. It sounds like it might be fueling controlled my the Edge??? i mean i can live with this, but it is rather irritating.
