2- piece driveshaft U joints

Hey everyone,

Went to Autozone yesterday to look at U joints and they have 2 different sizes for my truck, 2wd g56 with a 2-piece drive shaft. I also looked at Pep Boys and they have a Moog non-greasable in only 1 size. (thinking this might be the right one)

Any one around here able to tell me what part number i need for the U-joints as well as where i could find a carrier bearing? I have 177k miles on the truck and looking to get them replaced at 200K just so its done.

Are they bad? If not why replace them?

Two 98’s I have owned have 400k on OE U joints.

Look on Rock Auto for Pro Series US Made.

Well ever since I installed some traction bars on my truck I've got the humming sound. It's quieter with the bars off but still there.

I've had everything checked at my school and all the u joints are in spec and so is the carrier bearing. Just wondering what the part number was for the right size.

For some dumb AZZ reason the sigs don’t show on a cell phone.

Call your local Dealers Parts Dept and give them your Vin#. They can give part numbers you can cross reference.
